"Interpretaciones musicales lúcidas, saludables y de las que llegan"
La Opinión
"Expressiveness and fascination ..." ... are the attributes applied to La Tempestad by critics. Since its creation in 1999 they have played before audiences in the most important national festivals of ancient music, such as Aranjuez, Daroca, Cádiz , Santillana del Mar and Seville. It also highlights his recent participation in the International Festival of Renaissance and Baroque Music "Misiones de Chiquitos" in Bolivia and the Bolivian European Meeting of La Paz.
Its members have studied in the most important conservatories in Europe (Toulouse, Vienna, Amsterdam and The Hague) with the major early music specialists and have several recordings and awards in national and international competitions. They work with prestigious ensembles dedicated to this repertoire, including Al Ayre Español, La Real Cámara, Baroque Orchestra of Seville, Spanish Concert, Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, European Union Baroque Orchestra, La Stravaganza and The Orchestra of the 18th Century, and have toured both in Spain and throughout Europe, Israel, America and China.
Their discography includes the Trios for flute, viola and harpsichord of C. Ph. E. Bach (Arsis, 2009); Caro Dardo (MMA, 2007), dedicated to the fightings between castrati and sopranos in the time of Farinelli, and the first part of the complete Symphonies of London by J. Haydn arranged by J. P. Salomon (MMA, 2009), project co-produced by Murcia Ministry of Culture and the Festival de Música Antigua de Aranjuez. La Tempestad has also received grants from the INAEM (Spanish Ministry of Culture).
